With this artwork, I want to show how important it is to live in the present moment. While creating it, I thought about how often our minds are occupied with yesterday or tomorrow. Yesterday is gone it holds lessons, but it’s over. The future is unknown and beyond our control. Yet we often let our feelings today be shaped by the past or by worries about what’s to come.
Sometimes my days rush by full of tasks, haste, and small irritations. And then suddenly something stops me: a memory, a glance, a scent, or a piece of music. Music often moves me, and for each artwork I choose a song that fits the image perfectly, as if they belong together.
This portrait has the texture of a newspaper. I chose that deliberately: yesterday’s news is already history. The newspaper symbolizes the passing of time and how precious the present moment truly is.
This piece is my reminder of that feeling. It’s layered, just like life itself, with patterns, stories, and flowers that grow like thoughts. It’s a quiet invitation to notice what is here now and to enjoy it.

Hanging Instructions
Aluminium Hanging Frame
The stylish and solid aluminium hanging frame is pre-mounted on the back of the print. This frame is included with sizes 80×120 cm and 100×150 cm.
- Easy to mount on the wall thanks to the built‑in edge of the frame
- The pre‑mounted frame is not visible from the front, making the panel appear to “float” (with a 2 cm distance) from the wall

Hidden Hanging System
