The Power of the Underwater World
The Sea Life Collection was born from my deep connection to the sea, a feeling that has always been part of me.
For ten years, I lived on a houseboat in Amsterdam. The reflection of sunlight on the sea or water always brings me peace of mind. That shimmering light feels almost magical to me. It gives me that familiar sense of coming home.
Zandvoort, where I spent a lot of time, always holds a special place in my heart. I still visit Zandvoort often, the beach feels familiar, the sea brings peace, and it’s a place full of memories, close to people I care about.
I also became aware of the power and mystery of what lies beneath the water’s surface. Together with my niece, I got my diving license in Malaysia. We went diving in Thailand, Cuba, Venezuela, and Indonesia. I also explored the underwater worlds of Africa and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Underwater, everything slows down. You breathe more calmly, fully present in the moment. The silence, the colors, the movement it’s as if you’ve entered a different world. That experience left a lasting impression on me.
This collection reflects what that world does to me: the calm, the wonder, and the special feeling that arises beneath the surface.
Fashion Coral
This work is a tribute to the beauty of coral reefs. While diving, I truly realized how refined, colorful, and unique coral is, a living landscape full of intricate detail.
Yet these reefs are disappearing in more and more places. How painful it is that something so breathtaking can be so fragile.
With this piece, I want to show not only how beautiful coral is, but also raise awareness about the importance of protecting our underwater world.
Fashion Fishes
Inspired by tropical fish in every color and contrast you can imagine. While diving, they sometimes swam past me in shimmering schools.
Each time, I was amazed by how vibrant and striking they were. This piece is about that experience the peaceful feeling of being surrounded by the underwater world, and the wonder that comes with it.

Hanging Instructions
Aluminium Hanging Frame
The stylish and solid aluminium hanging frame is pre-mounted on the back of the print. This frame is included with sizes 80×120 cm and 100×150 cm.
- Easy to mount on the wall thanks to the built‑in edge of the frame
- The pre‑mounted frame is not visible from the front, making the panel appear to “float” (with a 2 cm distance) from the wall

Hidden Hanging System
The hidden hanging system ensures your print hangs perfectly flush against the wall. This system is supplied with sizes 40×60 cm and 60×90 cm.
